Palmarosa and gingergrass are close relatives.  Both plants are distilled from a different variety of the same plant species.

Common Names: Motia, rosha grass

Botanical Name: Cymbopobon martini var. motia.

Family: Poaceae syn. Gramineae

Plant Part Used: Leaves/grass blades

Extraction Method: Steam Distilled

Perfumery Note: Middle

Aromatic Description: Sweet, floral, rose-like

Colour/Characteristics: Pale yellow with a thin consistency
