Our Story
We are so grateful and thank Laura A’Bell for creating Harriet Herbery over 20 years ago.
I took over the reins in December 2019. Welcome my name is Mel (Melanie) Worsfold. It was the best decision I ever made.
Harriet Herbery is proudly Australian owned. We are dedicated to sustainability and fair trade and are proud to purchase our products from ethically and sustainably sourced distillers from Australia and all over the world.
Using the finest, 100% pure, certified organic ingredients where possible in our aromatherapist formulated products. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful holistic aromatherapy products for your body, mind and soul. All of our products are handmade with divine energetic intent and love and are sustainably packaged in reusable and eco-friendly packaging.
My passion for essential oils and energy work started many years ago.
My love for essential oils and learning how they could benefit and support us holistically began roughly around the time I started my nursing training over 30 years ago. I was fascinated with how they could influence us not only physically but emotionally and spiritually as well. This led to my many years later becoming qualified as an aromatherapist. A journey I am still on as I find the more I learn about essential oils and their amazing benefits the more there is to learn.
Likewise, my energetic healing journey started as a young child. I was brought up in a very spiritual family and environment. I often helped in energetic healing sessions and always felt drawn to it. Over the years I have studied many different energetic healing modalities and are currently certified as a Reiki Master, Seichim Master, Energy Healer, Ashati healing and just like aromatherapy I am continuously learning. I love them both. I love how they both complement each other and work so well together. I am so excited to be sharing these passions with you.
