Properties/Uses: Antifungal, antimicrobial, antiseptic, analgesic, anaphrodisiac, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericidal, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, expectorant, hypotensive, nervine, sedative.  Marjoram essential oil may be used to help treat digestive issues, stress related digestive upsets, flatulence, spasmodic indigestion, constipation, stimulate and strengthen intestinal peristalsis, muscular aches and pains, rheumatism, joint swelling, muscle spasms, cramps, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, sprains and strains, chilblains, bruises, spasmodic coughs, sinusitis, menstrual cramps, headaches, insomnia, inflamed skin conditions, acne, eczema and wound healing.

Energetics: Marjoram essential oil may be used to relieve anxiety, stress, fear, nervous exhaustion, agitation, lethargy, over-thinking, nervous breakdown and agitated depression.  It can help to calm and comfort especially if suffering from grief or deep loss.  Marjoram can help with emotional transformation, offering emotional strength and stability.  It is balancing, nurturing and harmonising, especially during times of overwhelm.
