Therapeutic Uses: Antiseptic, decongestant, mucolytic, analgesic, anti-neuralgic, expectorant, insecticide, rubefacient. Eucalyptus dives essential oil may be used to relieve congestion associated with colds, flus & upper respiratory tract infections, due to its excellent mucolytic properties. May also be used to help relieve headaches & neuralgia. As well as assisting with the relief of arthritis, muscular aches & pains, sports injuries & sprains and rheumatism.
Energetics: Can help with relieving lethargy, drowsiness, lack of concentration, confusion, negative thinking and pessimism. May help to promote alertness, clarity, perspective, optimism and self confidence.
Uses: diffuser, direct inhalation, compress, steam inhalation, diluted and applied to skin, salves, ointments.
Cautions: Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitising. No contraindications known.
Conservation Status: Listed as Least Concern on the IUCN red list
