Colour/Characteristics: Colourless to light brown viscous liquid

Properties/Uses: Analgesic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, cicatrising, diuretic, expectorant, stimulant, circulatory.  Copaiba Balsam has long been used to soothe the joint pains associated with normal aging. It makes a delicate warming addition to respiratory blends, and is a bit more gentle than stronger oils like eucalyptus.  Copaiba resin oil may be used to treat bronchitis, sore throats, tonsillitis, varicose veins, urinary tract infections, cystitis, intestinal cramps and spasms, stomach-ache, muscular pain, bacterial and inflammatory skin conditions, wrinkles, scar tissue, wounds, eczema, psoriasis, acne, insect bites, irritated skin, fungal skin conditions, athletes foot.
