Plant Part Used: Aerials, leaves

Properties: Astringent, hemostatic, sedative, tonic.  Commonly used to make astringent preparations that may be taken internally for diarrhea and externally as a gargle or rinse for mouth and throat infections.  May be applied to the skin and scalp to help ease inflammation and soothe sensitive skin.

Use: Tea, ointments, decoction, tincture, compress, lotion.

Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.
