Properties: Diuretic, hypotensive, anti-inflammatory, cardiotonic, astringent, antioxidant, antimicrobial, demulcent.  Hibiscus may be used to help treat colds, sore throat.  Can have beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system and blood pressure management.  May help aid digestion, ease menstrual pain and is considered to have antidepressant properties.

Use: Tea, syrup, honey, vinegar, wine, fire cider.
