Properties/Uses: Antibacterial, antifungal, antispasmodic, chemoprotective, anit-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, emmenagogue, digestive, diuretic, febrifuge, hypertensive, stimulant. Sage essential oil may help to treat respiratory issues, bronchitis, colds, flu, painful joints, muscular aches and pains, spasms, regenerative skin care, wound healing, slow healing wounds, old scars, menopause, hot flashes, PMS, dysmenorrhea, regulating the menstrual cycle.
Energetics: Sage essential oil may help relieve physical and mental fatigue, poor focus and memory. It may help to develop wisdom especially if used in conjunction with meditation. It may encourage courage, strength and perseverance.

Safety: Tisserand & Young recommend a dermal limit of 0.4%. Avoid if pregnant or suffering from epilepsy. Sage essential oil should be used with caution due to the high percentage of thujone and camphor. Has GRAS status.
