It has a fresh, clearing, grassy, herbaceous, camphoraceous aroma. 

White sage hydrosol is considered to be antifungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, antiviral, detoxifying, digestive, disinfectant and expectorant. 

White sage hydrosol may be used to help - reduce inflammation, ease muscle aches and pains, wound healing, as a circulatory stimulant.  As an astringent it is suitable for normal to oily skin as well as an oily scalp and can be drying for damp conditions such as fungal or yeast overgrowth.  It may be helpful in easing the symptoms of menopause, PMS and menstrual cramps.  Sage hydrosol may also help reduce underarm and foot sweating.    

Energetically it is clearing, strengthening and promotes courage.  It can help us to let go of what is holding us back, so that we can move forward.  It can also help us connect to and access our inner wisdom and intuition.  Try using as a spray to clear the auric field around the body, home or an object.  To cleanse and program crystals or other healing tools.  It could also be used to anoint our chakras/energy centres to disperse unwanted energies and to help open and balance them.

Safety: Generally regarded as safe.  Keep away from mucous membranes as it may cause skin sensitivity.  Perform a patch test before use.  Use caution if nursing/breastfeeding (not recommended for use during pregnancy).  Not recommended for use with infants.  Do not ingest.  Do not use if you have a high blood pressure condition.

Storage Suggestions:

• If stored in a cool and dry place, shelf life is approximately 12-24 months.

• Keep container tightly closed in a cool well-ventilated place.

• Keep away from oxidising agents, heat, direct light, and open flame.

• To prolong the shelf life, it is recommend hydrosols be stored in the refrigerator from the time of purchase.
