Properties/Uses: Antibacterial, anti-infectious, antiseptic, antiviral, expectorant, immunostimulant, stimulant. Ravensara essential oil may be used to help treat respiratory infections, colds, flus, bacterial and viral infections, bronchitis, sinusitis, muscular aches and pains, muscular fatigue, chronic fatigue, shingles and cold sores.
Energetics: Ravensara essential oil may help to relieve anxiety, stress, nervous fatigue, emotional fatigue, depression and anguish.
Use: Direct inhalation, diffuers, oil burner, oil vaporiser, skin care, massage, balms, salves, bath
Safety: No known contraindications. Tisserand & Young state a maximum dermal limit of % should be used on the skin. They also state that ravensara is potentially carcinogenic based on the estragole content. Avoid oxidised oil, it is recommended to store ravensara oil in a dark, airtight container in the fridge.
