Extracted during steam distillation.

Antioxidant, mildly diuretic.

This is a great hydrosol to use as your first linen of defense against respiratory problems.  Is fantastic for infections, coughs, colds, chest infections and hay fever type allergies.

May be used as a mouthwash or gargle or cough syrup.

According to Suzanne Catty.  At the onset of a cold or flu may be takena s 1 tsp in a small amount of water every 2 hours on the first day symptoms appear.

Couple with an essential oil for inhalation or apply topically to the thoracic area and the tops of the feet.
