Aroma: fresh, sharp citrus, is often described as a smelling of a mix of sweet orange and bitter grapefruit.
Suggested Uses: Colds, flu, constipation, flatulence, slow digestion, relieving stress, anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, headaches, energising, clarity, concentration, harmonising, uplifting, energising.
Major constituents: Limonene, B-Myrcene and Linalool.
Precautions: Bitter Orange Essential Oil is phototoxic. Avoid using Bitter Orange Oil that has oxidized due to a greater risk of skin sensitization. Tisserand and Young recommend a dermal maximum of 1.25% to avoid risk of phototoxic reaction.
