Main Chemical Constituents: furanoeudesma-1,3-diene, furanodiene, lindestrene, ß-elemene, germacrene B, geracrene D, delta-elemene, 2-methoxyfuranodiene

Blends Well With: Frankincense, rose, neroli, lavender, jasmine, lemon, patchouli, palo santo, sweet orange, cedarwood, cypress

Properties/Uses: Antimicrobial, antiseptic, cicatrisant, expectorant, vulnerary, anticatarrhal, anti-inflammatory, astringent, balsamic, carminative, emmenagogue, fungicidal, sedative, stimulant, stomachic, tonic, uterine.  Myrrh essential oil may be used to help treat skin conditions, wound healing, cracked & chapped skin, ulcers, slow healing wounds, mature skin, oily skin, eczema, stretch marks, inflamed skin, athletes foot, bedsores, respiratory issues, gentle expectorant, congestion, bronchitis, coughs, digestive issues, loss of appetite, inflamed gums, sore throat, diarrhoea, gingivitis, stimulates and promotes menstruation.

Energetics: Myrrh essential oil may be used to help relieve anxiety, depression, emotional trauma, life's emotional challenges, overthinking, worry and mental distractions.  It may help to calm, centre, balance and promote tranquillity as well as offering stillness and peace.  Myrrh is thought to enhance spirituality especially during meditation or prior to a healing session.  It is also thought to strengthen our base chakra while also strengthening the connection between our base and crown chakra.
