Properties/Uses: Analgesic, antifungal, antimicrobial, antitussive, decongestant, expectorant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antineuralgic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, astringent, balsamic, cicatrisant, deodorant, diuretic, febrifuge, rubefacient, vermifuge, vulnerary. Eucalyptus polybractea essential oil may be used to help relieve the symptoms of colds, flus, respiratory conditions, headaches. As well as assisting with the relief of arthritis, muscular aches & pains, sports injuries, sprains, rheumatism, neuralgia, insect repellent, burns, blisters, cuts, wounds.
Energetics: May be used to relieve melancholia, to restore vitality and positivity. To encourage confidence when faced with obstacle and challenges especially if they are causing confusion, negativity or ambiguity. Eucalyptus is very clearing, it can help clear mental fogginess, fatigue, confusion, poor focus and forgetfulness. May be used to cleanse a place where there has been conflict or where we feel negative energies or energetic blockages.
Use: diffuser, direct inhalation, compress, steam inhalation, diluted and applied to skin, salves, ointments.
