Aromatic Description: Fresh, spicy, woody, slightly herbaceous, green 

Colour/Charecteristics: Pale yellow to orange yellow liquid

Main Chemical Constituents: limonene, ß-selinene, α-selinene

Blends well with: Ginger, Kunzea, Pine, Sweet Orange, Rosemary, Grapefruit, Juniper Berry, Lemon or Lavender

Properties/Uses: Antifungal, antimicrobial, digestive, larvicidal, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, carminative, cholagogue, depurative, diuretic, emmenagogue, galactagogue, hepatic, nervine. Celery seed essential oil may be used to assist with detoxification, digestive issues, dyspepsia, flatulence, indigestion, arthritis, gout, rheumatism, stress related digestive issues, congestion, amenorrhoea and glandular problems, congested skin, blemishes, age spots.

Energetics: May be used to help relieve nervousness, depression and promote a restful sleep.  Can help when we are feeling stuck, lacking creativity or having trouble expressing emotions.  May also help to awaken psychic awareness. 

Use: Bath, massage, ointment, direct inhalation, diffuser, oil burner, oil vaporiser.

Safety: Non-toxic, non-irritant, possibly sensitising.  Avoid during pregnancy.  Has GRAS status.

Conservation Status: Wild Celery - Least Concern on the ICUN red list.
