Chamomile German - Hydrosol - 50ml

Aroma & Taste: Undiluted this German chamomile hydrosol has a very green, sharp almost bitter taste with a chamomile floral afternote coming through.  Diluted the bitterness disappears leaving an almost floral, honey like taste.

Properties and Uses: Anti-inflammatory, internally and externally on all types of tissues.

Use by itself or blend with lavender hydrosol to speed the healing and reduce the inflammation for burns.

Use to help with redness associated with all skin conditions - rashes, burns, sunburns, itches, eczema, psoriasis.

Can also be used as a compress on inflamed or swollen veins, thread and spider veins, varicose veins and haemorrhoids.

May also be used as a cleanser for sensitive, inflamed or problem skin.

Try using as a wash or compress for topical fungal infections.

Can be used internally for urinary tract and vaginal infections as well as internally or as a douche for candida and thrush.  

Taken internally as a digestive this hydrosol can help calm intestinal spasms and may have a calming effect on ulcerative conditions in the bowel.

Emotionally German chamomile hydrosol can be used as an anxiolytic, especially when anxious or stressed before major events such as exams or major presentations. 

Even though Roman chamomile is usually a better choice for children, as German chamomile is more sedative, a few drops can be used in a child's bath to help slow them down.
