Niaouli oil is more commonly produced in Madagascar - the trees of course are Australian, mainly dotted around New South Wales and Queensland.

It is used by aromatherapists for cleaning minor wounds and burns, assisting with muscular aches and pains and in blends for to help with relief of arthritis.

Niaouli is used for both acute and chronic sinusitis and bronchitis and is a strong support for the respiratory system. It has excellent expectorant and anti-allergenic properties as well as being used for its antihistamine properties.

For the skin, it's used for acne and boils.

Niaouli is considered a safe oil with no known hazards or contraindications.
