Chamomile Roman Hydrosol - 50ml & 100ml

Chamomile Roman Hydrosol has a pH of around 3.0-3.3 and a shelf life of a couple of years.

Aroma & Taste: Very sweet honey-like taste and aroma. It smells like a more subtle version of the essential oil.

Applications: This is one of the most amazing hydrosols available and will have a place in everyone's home. It's all-purpose and generally considered very safe.

This is my number one hydrosol for babies. It can be used when babe is small in baths and in spritzers around the room or on bedding etc.

In addition, it's helpful for mothers with preventing cracked and sore nipples. It is so calming. When I was breastfeeding this was constantly by my side! It is such a calming aroma and so safe to use.

Suzanne Catty advises using chamomile hydrosol neat or in a 50/50 with lavender hydrosol as a compress for nappy rash and pain. If you're making home made baby wipes - always include chamomile!

I found this hydrosol to be very useful for teething. Simply rub the babies gums with it.

Chamomile Roman Hydrosol is useful with stress reduction, insomnia and a host of other ailments due to its effect on the nervous system.

You can also use it in your skin care as an anti-inflammatory for rashes, sensitivities, rosacea, heat rash and more. As with lavender it is excellent for soothing sunburn and other minor burns.

In many countries, chamomile hydrosol is used as an effective eye wash. You can use as a compress on the eyes to help with pollution, redness and conjunctivitis.
